Liberale Judische Gemeinde Hamburg

Services

Since we do not have our own synagogue, the venue for events and services often changes.

You can find out about upcoming dates and venues in our flyer (German language).

Kabbalat Shabbat: Fridays at 7.30 p.m.
Shacharit: Saturdays at 11 a.m.

Each service is followed by kiddush.
Kiddush is when members and friends bring something to eat and we all share a meal together. Of course, the food has to be kosher. Our kiddush is dairy and many members invest their time and money in making kiddush a great experience for everyone. If you would like to support our kiddush, you could bring:

Fruit
Cheese, yoghurt, curd cheese  (no gelatine, no animal lab-ferment, please!)
Fish (with scales, but no seafood, shark or eel)
Desserts (no gelatine, please!)
Egg or egg mayonnaise
Wine, etc.

If you are not sure what to bring but would like to make a contribution to our kiddush, you could also make a donation. Before visiting us for the first time, please register as a guest.
